BD Report, and World Class Potential Report!

Hi P_G, sounds like a brilliant day out, I would be so proud just to be invited so you must be doing really well

and you never know maybe in the future!...

I was really looking forward to this report, thanks so much for posting it. I'm sorry they didn't pick you, but as someone else said, to be in the same boat as Charlie Hutton and Peter Storr isn't exactly failure !!!

I am really pleased Archie went well for you. Is this a one-off thing for you and Archie, or might you get invited again next year?

Well done - my horse was on it was well - ridden by Ruth Edge - in the first session as she had to leave early. He went beautifully, but I think as he also events he was not really there to get funding - more a useful experience for him to be seen by people who might judge him in future. Never hurts to be seen by judges, as they do tend to remember horses, even if you think they aren't looking, and obviously all the horses there were invited as they had potential anyway. Thank goodness it was inside anyway - my poor horse's stable was starting to flood by the time we got him back on the lorry!

well done! it's never nice to feel overlooked but it was a real achievment to get there in the first place so someone must be taking notice!

The woman i bought Archie off had her horse in the first session too, he was the only one who got called for the vetting out of that group i think?

Was definately a great experience - i had a look in the stables, one horse was stood in a huge puddle! Im glad we didnt have to stay over night!!!!

Thank you to everyone again! We did have a great time!

Someone asked about going next year (cant remember who) - tbh i dont think i would, i get the impression they are only interested in professionals, as i wont be one for a long time yet there really isnt much point in me going!

Il just have to prove hes a grand prix horse some other way!!!!

i know you train with him hun

He has got some lovely horses to ride, and yes hes had some great results. What i was meaning was he was lucky hes had such fab horses. I know Ultimo Hit has been a difficult one, but hes done well with him.

I personally dont like the way he rides, but then im sure people dont like the way other riders ride, just my opinion!!

For sure, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Just that he comes on here as do other professional riders and it is their livelihood we are talking about so have to be careful in that respect, nobody likes to have bad things said about them and although I am sure you are joking he really is not a diva.

i thought he'd be quite pleased at being called a dressage diva

Id love to be a 'proper' dressage diva!!!!!!! I dont really class that as saying anything bad about him

Im sure he also dosent like the way some top riders ride, as im sure you dont either!

Oh well done! You're always posting about winning on these amazing scores, so does that mean you are now qualified for the regionals? You must be by now, surely? I get a bit lost about what all you dressage people are doing what with millions of levels and areas and regionals and winter and summer....so confusing!
