Got the best birthday present ever when OH announced that he had bought Diva for me from sis.
SHE'S ALL MINE

She has decided that she thinks that Diva, OH and I are a really good team and as her job is getter more and more hectic plus she is now at university she can no longer give her the time.
Not only am I very spoilt but I am thrilled to bits! Celebrated by buying Diva a new Stubbs bright pink water bucket and pink haynet!
Decided to let OH take the ride at Speedgate and do Novice 22 and Novice 33. She was absolutely fantastic - one cheeky moment in the warm-up but her halo was well and truly in place.
She did two foot perfect tests and got 73.4% and 71% - the latter score was from a judge who is lovely but firm and even the organisers said "You don't see many 70%+ tests from that judge!"
She got 60 for her collectives in both tests 8, 7, 7, 8!
So proud of her and OH, he also had a good day as he was riding for another client and won both the elementaries.
As he has qualified quite early it now means I get to bumble around her till the winters

oh thats fantastic well done !!! i saw you warming up at speedgate actually but you looked busy so didnt want to say hi - she looked absolutely gorgeous !!!

I was very busy but never too busy for a chat! You should have come over and said hello.
Were you competing? I'm sure I would remember you what colour is your horse?

nope wasnt competing just there to spend lots of money in the shop then i drove to the top yard to see some friends and as we drove past my friend said oh what a lovely horse - and when i looked it was yours !!! you were just about to go over and do your test too !!

Absolutely chuffed to bits - I was slightly disapointed that she wasn't presented to me with a pink bow round her neck but he is a man

That would have been even better!

When Dad bought me Grace for my birthday, he just put all her documents in an envelope and asked me to sign some paperwork in it (I have been signing a lot of stuff for his will) and there were Grace's passport etc etc! I couldn't stop crying, but when I did I asked whether she was stood in her stable with a big bow around her neck

I would have loved the bow that sounds fab!
My sister turned up at the yard with a big folder with Diva on it and said I think you might be needing this!
Then OH wandered wound and said - Don't say I never buy you anything!

Yes hoping to do one before Christmas. I got 69.7% in a Novice last weekend - so was thrilled with her.
We are working Medium at home and with that score I don't think it is unreasonable to have a go. Probably get OH to pilot her round first and then do one on a training ticket as I don't want to move out of restricted just yet.
