That he is designing and implimenting a new computer system for results that will enable show secs to send reults simultaneously to BD, Website and H & H. Rather like BDWP.

Also, at the big comps, like Nationals, results will be uploaded instantly, movement by movement, so you can follow it!

Now, that would be a big improvement

oh i really do hope so, I can't believe how slow BD and the show secretaries are at uploading results. If BE can do it then surely BD can manage it especially when numbers are so much smaller

That would be fantastic and about time.

So how did the judge training go Finn? And have you had your nice big delivery?

I really really hope so. It has been a disaster for so long. I'm sure all BD member will be very grateful for such a service. I'd like an online centralized webpage to get times as well - like BDWP does. That would be worth paying a bit more for IMHO.

I was spotted by a HHO'er - very freaky to be so infamous!!

Taken List 1 judge called Sally Merrison. Gave me some good advice and was allround lovely lady.

A large bay Star arrived this afternoon, we went for a tour of the farm, which she thought was great and my feet got very wet!

Think she thought her ultra large stable and non stop supply of hay was great to hehe

Let's just hope BD don't stand in the "Little Bird's" way and drag their feet with their side of the bargain and that it is implemented soon before I get as furious with the new website as I was with the last!!!

Finn that was me that spotted you!!

That little grey mare I was riding was doing her first affiliated show. She used to be a driving horse but had a really bad accident in the carriage so has now taken up dressage.

Her owner was delighted as she won the class with 72.9%.

Sally is great for judge training and she's also been one of the examiners in most of my judges exams as well. You were lucky to have a decent sized class and not too many doing the training therefore lots of opportunity to get the most out of the session.
