Well it will, but not in its current form as will need an updated noseband to be purchased. The FEI is a curious beast on why they decide crap. My Hippus is banned for dressage yet I look at it and no understanding why as a curved mouthpiece with a single joint. They banned french links for a bit because of the Dr Bristol issue though I could tell the difference for pony club C test at 11…., they always struggle with poll pressure and the hanging cheek.

This is really ridiculous. Also tell me why exactly this bit is banned? A loose ring without the shield is legal. An eggbutt is legal. This is not.

I "think" the reason behind that one is that it could mask the judges view of the mouth and any resistance......I suppose if the shields were bigger that might be true ( a little like the ban on bit rubbers)....but surely they could state a maximum size?!

Was just about to buy a Quantum bridle - fitting booked for Saturday but will hold fire until the new noseband is available.
