BD rules - Balance strap

Afternoon everyone.

Me and ponio are tentatively thinking of doing a prelim test in the near future.
I know that BD rules allow a balance strap to be used, but does this have to be a professionally manufactured one, or will i be alright with my flash strap?

I love my flash strap - I think its my grown up replacement for my blanket that i couldn't sleep without when i was little!

I have one on every saddle, and wouldn't dream of taking my youngster out without one (still won't ditch the neck strap though

LOL!)
