Can someone explain these please?

If you have one, do yuo compete O or R? What about points etc?

Also, if you have been placed at P does that make a difference?

If you are just starting out affiliated you would start in restricted for novice. You only start doing novice open if you have got points at elementary level. You wont gain points until you register properly. If you have been placed at prelim it doesnt make any difference. If you are only doing prelim affil. then as far as i remember you dont need a ticket to do the non qualifiers, anyone can do them. In the qualifier you would have to enter the open section as this is for non registered horses.

Thanks for that. Its not for me.

You might know this though. We got our first 2 point at novice a few weeks ago. So, am I right in thinking I can still be R?

Yes if you are registered and riding in restricted nov at the mo, you can continue to do so until you get over 60% in an elementary. You can keep doing nov until you get 74 points.

Hi,
the post wasnt about me as Im am registered, but a friend,

Comps are not going well at all really TBH. He works really well at home but find comps very very stessful and is so tense it is unreal. All our sheets arefull of "tense" comments and, right nowIcannot see the light at the endof the tunnel.

Recently started him on NAF magic but am not holdingout much hope. Was supposed to have a comp yesterday but I wasn't well enough. Right now I have lost my enthusiasum. :-(
