Aldham Mill / Yorkshire Dressage is really nice! Never too busy, really big and very gorgeous indoor warm-up, everything spaced well apart and very calm quiet atmoshere. I'd be happy to take a youngster there :-)

Sorry just realised you were after West Yorkshire! Yorkshire Dressage is Barnsley

oh its ok- i've been there before, its not too far

Oh no, its always been quiet when I've been. We were planning on taking our baby there when the time came for their first outing. Manor Grange is well run and a nice venue but it does get very busy.

yeah i thought that about MG too- i do like it but last time they had a huge marque (sp?) at the judges end- don't think vandi would like this

hmmm..guess i could try Aldham Mill- if i'm going in really early then shouldn't be too busy. now if only the BD website was working i could look at whats on and when!

I really like Manor Grange (only been there once in the week mind) but excellent facilities and nice big hedges to stop my nosey horse gorping at everything around him rather than concentrating on his work!

right have checked aldham mill website- think i might go 16th august for P18- if i only do the one test and ask them to put me on early i shouldn't get too squished by serious dressage riders?! ha ha

surely they'll put the short arena test on in that one behind the indoor? the other test is long arena.....
