hey-just wondered which winter regionals people are going to if they have qualified? i hope everyone had a lovely christmas and HAPPY NEW YEAR to all

Hello! We're prob doing the one at Myerscough, but not 100% decided because the horse we are taking doesn't seem to like Myerscough that much - too interesting! lol!
Are you going, to compete or spectate? If so which one are you going to?

hey SAMgirl-i can only make two of the regionals and after alot of thinking i have finally decided to go to patchetts but my classes are on three different days there which is really annoying-was wondering if anyone was staying over at patchetts any of the nights? i was considering going to willerby hill but that is miles away and altho on paper it is possible for us to get there it would involve going via an airport to pick me up on route,which is probably not the best plan!!
THE_carthorse-i wish i could make addington as i like that venue so much! especially now they have done all the work on it i think its fab-especially the new indoor!
 
If we don't go to Myerscough, we'll prob go to Addington - not just because it's lovely, but our chap seems to prefer it! I don't know why - but to us humans they make look pretty similar - but I have on good authority (well, off the pony - lol) that Myerscough is some kind of knock-in shop on the quiet and can make a young man very excited! lol

Yes we have done the music in the international arena twice[amat.champ and riding club champ] So looking forward to it and thrilled they will be letting 3 restricted through,gives us a bit of a chance instead of none
 
I have only been to Patchetts once - for BSJA (lmao

Going via an airport, I would so chose that!! Purely because I would feel very glam!!

The carthorse, you know you will be going .... I predict it anyway, how about we have a bet on it.!!

I shall be going to Patchetts too, although not staying over this year as I will be competing on the Sunday and Tuesday and there is no way I am freezing my bits off for two nights!!! I shall travel up there twice!! It is a lovely venue and great food which keeps everyone happy!!! Plus it is in the low emission zone too!!
 
I will be going to Addington on the Thursday with HG's 5 yr old stallion for the Novice music... not sure how much chance we will have as he's only ever done two novice classes!

Helped in my decision by the fact that my horses have all been sick over the last three weeks so I could do with some extra time to get Rhiannon up to speed again!
I'm having to make two trips as well, Elementary and Medium music on the Thursday then Elementary and Medium Opens on the Saturday.
 
OH and Diva are doing Novice Open on Friday 22nd February. We are going to Addington and staying overnight on the Thursday.

FinnMcCoul - Apperently Patchetts is just outside the LEZ, I thought it was inside as well.
 
Carthorse. Pm me. you could always stay at mine, i only have a small spare room and the lounge but i am sure we could fit in.
You could either stable at addington or we'll squeeze you in on the yard.

i think i am going to make 2 trips to patchetts and stay over once on the tuesday evening-let me know if anyone is around!

Patchetts is great if you stay overnight as the clubhouse opens till late and is a really good atmosphere. There is a hotel at the end of the road, so could always treat yourself and stay there.
Im going to support a good friend. Fingers crossed for everyone. xxx

I checked Patchetts postcode on the website thingy and it is just outside the LEZ thank God or I would be at Addington too.
 
I'm going to Kingston Maurward for the Prelim so doesnt sound like i will meet anyone there

Thank you for your confidence but NOTHING is certain ,as we all know.
Last summer regionals ,she won the warm up but in the qualifier only came 7th so didn't go to champs [the eventual winner of the champs came second to her in the warm up but won the qualifer and champs]
The music is a real wild card and so much will depend on the judges likes and dislikes but as I said we have more chance in the restricted section.
He is already going to Hartbury in the novice rest. Pet plan and Spillers comb training.He is only 5 but a little sweetheart.
How kind to offer to put us up ,I will tell Claire how kind you are and she can contact you ,as certain to get early times and the motorway can be a problem.
Mat both brothers in the same class.WOW. HG is going to be SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO proud of her sons.
Claire had a dream the other night that he will be doing the 2012 para olympics.What a strange dream ,but dreams do come true. [Claire is an ablebodied rider so not with her]

I am going to Patchetts on Sunday and so is Rachelskeff to do Elem. Restricted. Then Tues for Elem. music....if I find some different music in time as my comments were I used too much vocal!!! Opps!!!! Clubhouse has fab food and drink so keeps your helpers/friends/grooms very happy throughout the day!!!!!!!!

Good luck to everyone else going elsewhere.... I am going to Addington to watch hopefully, as there will be soo many of you going there so if anyone needs a helping hand, coffee run, etc let me know!!!
