This is my first year I'll have been registered BE. I started in June at BE80 and have so far managed 1 a month. There are 2 that I really fancy in September because they look so lovely and inviting when I looked at the pics for last year on shoe string (West wilts 3 & Munstead 2) but they are one weekend after the other. West wilts 3 is 8/9/10th Sept and Munstead is 16/17th.

Is that too much to ask from my horse? I'm still fairly new to this and want to keep a happy, healthy (sound) horse so am worried I'm overdoing it for her.

Thanks in advance for advise and opinions. :)

That is fine, 2 events a month should be no problem as long as the horse is fit enough I would happily do 2 with just 4-5 days between them, give her a couple of days off after the second one and don't worry about it.

if the horse is fit enough it would be well able for it. I used to run 2-3 80s a month with a horse last year

I wouldn't worry about it at all, as long as horse is relatively fit. It's only 80cm, and it really shouldn't be taking that much out of them. I'd give one day off after the first and maybe 2 after the second if horse seems tired. With last horse I was out eventing/hunting almost every weekend in the holidays, and she never seemed to be tired or suffer any ill effects!
