A friend is about to enquire about a horse seen for sale but has done a bit of research in to it beforehand. It has one eventing record. In the one event it’s had a score in dressage then has the abbreviation ‘A’ at jumping. Nothing for cross country and final result is ‘A’. What does this mean? She will ask when contacting but it’s more frustrating that I can’t work out what it means. Any ideas?

An event was abandoned at our local after a rider fell and needed an ambulance. The time lost meant they couldn't get the rest of the class through before dark so had to abandon.

Horse and rider both fine.

Same at Larkhill last weekend. Also had one abandoned once during the SJ due to torrential rain.

Thank you, I knew this forum would have the answer! I was racking my brains and frustratingly couldn’t come up with anything. So she has been in contact with the owners and it turns out that there was a rotational fall in the bigger class that was before them so they couldn’t continue. I managed to check on PC instead of phone and the last two classes were all A’s.
