BE application question

I have a question on the "imported horses" section. It says it includes irish horses.
Well Rock is from Ireland, he came over from Goresbridge as a 3yr old (hes 7 now) do I have to state this? It says they will award him points but thats not fair, will he be given points if i declare him and how do i get them to take it off?

THINK you need to prove he was imported as a 3 year old.Isn't it the imported age that they go by.Maybe wrong,flu/tet record will do .I THINK BUT MAY BE WRONG!

I don't have any importing papers or anything because i bought him once he arrived here. His flu and tet vacs only start on his passport once he has arrived here. Hmm I think i'll have to phone them.

Goddy came over from Ireland too. Didnt make any fuss about it when registering, and they have never asked about it. It is only if they are over competing age when imported that they question it,

Ah ok so you just filled in the import bit with the date and country he came from and they didn't award you any points or contact you?

nope, never heard from them regarding it...infact, I am sure there was small print on the form somewhere about horses coming ovr from ireland....will ahve a look and let you know

same here, evented 2 that came over from ireland, both sjed there but didn't event, never had a problem registering and competing them BE, they weren't assigned any points or anything.

Ollie came from ireland and i stated this and he came over as a 3 year old and he got no points
