I’m probably being very thick but I can’t find the qualifying requirements or the qualifying period to get to a regional championship for BE90. IIRC it was 2 double clears or top 20%. I’d like to try and make it to Frickley next year.

TIA

I have heard it’s all change next year so don’t expect to see them again…..

Oh that’s a shame. Guess I’ll go for Brigante cup again then. I missed out by 1 point this year! Gutted!!
No, they are bringing in a far better qualifying system for badminton. The AFC have not been well supported so will probably be dumped.

Hi Badminton feels out of reach because of my mediocre dressage. So for me the double clears route to qualifying was attractive. Plus the championships were within 12 months whereas Badminton seems to take forever! Though I;ve not looked into it closely as it was never realistic. I can't remember exactly now but I seem to recall the qualifying period was posts champs to about June? But I will wait to see what next year looks like before deciding what to go for. I'm doign Norton Disney anyway - might as well make SOME use of the membership! I had entered both Stafford and Cholmondely but have ended up not doing any BEs this year so far.

I think you will like the new way forwards. When I was told, I agreed with it and it’s better for the sport and organisers than the current shit show. I expect it will get announced at end of the season.
