hopefully the hedge was between that and the horses! Similar has happened in the past with horses loose a couple of years back though I think that turned out to be more of a personal arguement than attempted stealing

Thanks JM. There was a lot of this going on around this time last year, I even caught 2 chaps hopping out over my yard gate with a headcollar in their hand at 6 a.m. one morning. Let's hope it doesn't all start over again this year.

There have been a few break ins around our area apparently (Beaminster). I don't leave anything worth taking at the yard anyway though.

Having had two of ours stolen two weeks ago (in Cornwall) I would urge people to get their horses freezemarked, much more chance of getting them back should the nightmare situation occur.
