Am I right in thinking they have gone back to a 12 month requirement now?

Yes. however:-
The BE Rule Book states that no horse may take part in a BE National Event (which includes entering competition stables) unless it has a current vaccination against equine influenza which complies with the following conditions:
  • Two injections for primary vaccination, not less than 21 days and not more than 92 days apart, are required before being eligible to compete;
  • A first booster injection must be given within seven months (not more than 215 days) after the second injection of primary vaccination;
  • Subsequent booster injections must be given at intervals of not more than one year, commencing after the first booster injection;
  • In order to compete a horse must be vaccinated in accordance with the above rules and MUST also have had a vaccination within 6 calendar months and 21 days of the competition, BUT;
  • A horse may not compete if it has been given a relevant injection on any of the seven days before it is to compete at the event. Thus, a horse vaccinated on Friday 1st, may not compete before Saturday 8th.
So, if you had annual vacc last week, horse will be fine through this summer.

FEI are still 6 months +21days max.

PC currently still is: "Booster vaccinations must be administered at a maximum of 12 months intervals however horses competing at Area level and above, including Grassroots Regional Championships and the final of the Spring Festival competitions, must have received a booster within the 6 months +21 days (but not within the 7 days) before arrival at the competition."

I can't follow that at all! Lottie was vaccinated in Oct. Is she ok till Oct or due again now.

On the BE website is said the 6 month requirement was suspended due to vaccine shortages. But when from? The post was dated Sept.

I would suggest you get another booster in now if you want to completely play safe - as the c&p I put above is what my vets advise, based on 2023 rulebook (I'm in office so no access to check it at present). You would then not need an annual vacc till March next year - unless doing events after end Sept, does that make sense? x

BRC have and they're usually the strictest so I think it's probably safe to say they all have. BRC actually went to 15 months due to vacc shortages for a while but are back to 12 now.
