Hi!

I have a 16.2, 16 year old BWB mare. We have competed at many unaffiliated One Day Events but would like to try low level BE 80t at Kelsall. She goes round 85 cm unaffiliated course without any probs scoring around 70% in dressage
and heard the be 80t is very inviting?

Due to her age etc dont reAlly want to join for the season. But find it pretty hard to understand the pricing etc.

Has anyone done any BE on a ticket before, if so could you give any advice?

Thanks

To compete at 80 on a ticket you need a training ticket not a day ticket but to buy this you need to register your horse for a lifetime registration number (free) and yourself as an associate (again free) you will need to send passport photocopy in aswell. You can then log into BE website

The training ticket is £10 on top of the entry fee which is on the schedule on BE website. You then have the start fee to pay on the day which is also stated on schedule.

You can then enter for most events on BDWP

80 on a ticket will be around £80-£90 depending on event. It's getting expensive! My first 80 this season is £67 to enter plus £13 start fee and £10 training ticket

Hope this helps :)
