Hi! Could someone please tell me whether I need to buy an Owner/Horse ticket if I am not a junior??
On the Day Ticket Application Form, under the title 'Information on Juniors and Pony Riding Juniors', it says that 'were the owner of the day Ticket horse is not the rider and is not registered with BE, then a Horse/Owner Day Ticket must be purchased instead of normal Horse Ticket (...)'.

So, I am going to compete someone else's horse, no one is registered and it's my first go at aff eventing in the UK (I am well over 18yrs!). Do I buy Rider Day Ticket and Horse Ticket OR Rider Day ticket and Horse/Owner ticket??

Thanks a lot for reading

For the purposes of using a day ticket and with the owners consent, just get an ordinary day ticket. We have always registered ours as being owned by us, as the registered owner is not necessarily the legal owner, and the owners themselves were not interested enough to pay nearly £100 just to have thir name in the programme!
If you are going to join and the owner wants the exposure/glory then they should really register themselves otherwise just register the horse as your own.

I think you will need a Rider Day Ticked AND a Horse/Owner Ticket. Best bet would be to ring BE and ask. You might get away with just a Rider Ticket and Horse ticket but the owners name would not appear in the programme, you would show as and owner/rider.
