Never used day tickets just been registered.

I know that I can use as many day tickets I want on an un-registered horse as I am registered but what happens about balloting.

If I enter a horse into Poplar on a day ticket am I the most likely to get balloted or will I have more chance of getting as im registered?

Also as per my previous post! I will be riding three at that event, as I have three does that make you more likey to get balloted?!

Only ever ridden one at an event so would like some advise from mutiple horse riders!! Thanks!!!

I think multiple rides get ballotted, particularly day tickets. However on the plus side, poplar is very early and many people don;t have their horses fit by then. Poplar entries closed very early last year.

It's all explained in detail in the rule book, although not necessarily all the bits you want to know in one section! If you are riding several you have to state the order you would prefer them not to be balloted in if you see what I mean. Also, your horse on a day ticket is more likely to get balloted than your registered ones.

ETS: Obviously the usual appiles - be as flexible as possible with times and day-before dressage etc. Also check if your lorry can handle 3 and all their gear...

You should be less likely to be ballotted than an unregistered rider on an unregistered horse

Haven't a clue about likelihood of balloting for a rider with mulitple entries but as I understand things the order of priority is:

registered rider/horse
registered rider/ticketed horse
ticketed rider/horse

obviously the combination at the bottom of the list has the least priority.

Might be worth checking with BE to clarify.

Cool, thanks for your help.

I will only be travelling 2 in my lorry, we wont ever travel 3.

The girl who owns the other horse will be taking him and doing everything with him.
