BE - Dummies guide to withdrawing, needed.

Right I have to withdraw from an event. How on earth do I go about it?
Do I ring the organiser?
Do I get a refund? ( Im hoping here)
& Do I get my dayticket back?

Usually instructions on the schedule check BE site if you haven't got it. Usually ring the entries secretary and confirm in writting. You will only get entry fee back if before ballot date or there is a waiting list. Again schedule might give more information.

Not sure about the day ticket.

I normally (!!!) phone the organiser and just confirm with an e-mail (the BDWP usually has an e-mail link). Have never bothered send off the card thing.

Some events are very understanding and give all your money back. Others are not (sore point).
