BE Jump Training, to plaite or not to plaite?

I contested in a JT competition last season. I plaited up, as had most of the class to be honest. Yes, you are competing in a pure jumping competition but you are being judged on your style. Turnout doesn't come into it, granted. But I think it presents a good first impression to the judges. Entirely down to the individual mind you. Best of luck and enjoy! I learnt a lot from it last year! :D

I asked a similar question on here a couple of days ago. One person said no but actually if u look on the be website, the pics on the jump training pages are of horses plated! You wouldn't unplate for the be sj phase! I'm at bishop burton on Sunday and I'll be plating!

We did it a couple of times and I plaited, not many were but I plait for everything, as said above it is a style jumping competition and although turnout doesn't count I personally think making the effort is worth it, both trainers commented on our turnout so it was worth it.
