BE - qualifying?

Am competing at Novice BE level, but am a little confused about qualifying for stuff. Am a right that you need 4 clears XC (and less than 20 penalties SJ) to qualify for a Novice 2 Day Event? How do you qualify for the regionals? And can anyone move up to intermediate novice or do you have to have done so many events etc.??

To qualify for a Novice regional final you have to be placed in the top 2 in a Novice event. Then the top 25% at the NRF qualify for Gatcombe which incidently is Intermediate standard.

You don't need any addition qualifications to do an IN you can just move up when you feel you are ready for a more difficult dressage and slightly higher SJ.

I am not sure about the 2 day events you certainly have to have completed 4 novices.
