Can i still enter after the ballot date. Sorry if this is such a stupid question (suppose i should know) but i have always entered before this date so not sure if i can or not. Also will i have to pay extra.

The comp i want to go to has very low entries at the moment and only a few days to ballot date.

Yes you can if the entries are still open. That way at least you know you won't need a ballot sticker

Thistle is right; best to do it online so you know either way. There is a "surcharge" date which is about 2 weeks before the competition, at which point there is supposed to be a £10 surcharge on entries; not sure if it really happens as the events which aren't full want more people so aren't going to put them off by charging them extra.
