Anyone else heading to Newmarket on Sunday??

If so, have you had any confirmation from BE or just the initial email invite with the time/venue/timetable etc??

I emailed to reserve a place, got a reply and sent cheque off a couple of weeks ago but haven't heard anything since, guessing they just assume we will be there at 9am?

**Must go and buy myself some suitable tracksuit bottoms that don't have holes in....:D**

We're going, and no haven't heard anything. I paid by credit card and she did say that a confirmation Email would be sent nearer the time.

Where are you travelling from.

See you Sunday.

Ok, so it's not just me that hasn't heard then, glad to hear that!

I'm coming up from Herts so hoping at that time of the morning it should only take about 1hr 15.

How about you?

Should be a good day.

I'm going to I paid over the phone so place was confirmed then but had no email or other confirmation. Should be fun although fitness assessment my be embarressing!

Ha ha, s_j I was thinking the exact same, could be very embarrassing!

Cold weather and dark nights do not facilitate good exercise...more like encourage hearty meals and nights in the pub :o

Did you find somewhere to stay in the end? if not, more than welcome to pit stop at mine as just off J9 M1

Susie, very impressed with the xmas shopping planning! :D

Glad I am not the only one my excuse is injury and illness but same result of nearly passing out if asked to do anything like run! Thankls for the offer thnk I have found a little B&B in Newmarket, needed to be in or nearby as taking the opputunity on sat evening to see a much loved horse I sold a few years ago who now live in Newmarket :)

I'll be there.:D I've been practising today: came off twice, one was a Fosbury Flop and the other a Face Plant after hauling myself back from the brink twice but submitting to gravity the third time. ;) Will no doubt be hugely embarrassed by my lack of fitness but can use old age and a dodgy knee as valid excuses.

Good to hear you're keeping in practise, Baydale. Oh, hold on...

Bit careless there Baydale-have you thought of velcro jods? :D:D:D:D
On a more serious note love to know their thoughts on how to fall wearing a blow up jacket.

Coor blimey Baydale, there's no need to try and get an extra head (excuse the pun!) start on the rest of us :D

Yep, just seen the email...we were obv a few hours too keen!

Hadn't realised it was going to be full xc scenario with bp, crash hat, jumping saddle and all, there was me all ready to throw my self off a simulator in tracksuit bottoms! :p

Looks like it should be a good day.

Kerilli - are you planning on spectating?...seems spectators are welcome although it does say viewing space limited.

You know me, I'm such a perfectionist that if I'm going to do something I do it properly.:p

Maybe Health and Safety got wind of a group of accident-prone two star riders who were going to hurl themselves off things... Should I bring arnica? ;)

Were all expecting a proper report from you intrepid 'chuck yourself on the floor' people you know so no alcohol ok?

Oh alright then, you'll probs have earned a swig or two ;)
