Sorry I am being dim but I have always kept my horse on an annual vaccination schedule - his last flu booster was 2 Nov 2021 - which is more than 6 months ago - does that mean for a be entry at end of July I have to restart vaccinations??
And/or am I too late to do so for an entry on 23 July?

No need to re-start, but you will need to have a booster at least a week before the event as it needs to be within the past 6 months

I believe you have to start all over again if the flu jabs lapse the day after the 12 month period. For 6 monthly's I'd have thought you'd have a bit of wiggle room. Just get it done asap, I think at least 7 days before the event. If in doubt, phone BE.

If a horse is vaccinated a week before the event, can the injection affect his condition during the event? Or is it safe? Or maybe there have been cases?
