I have 2 entered for little mattingly, 31st july in the BE 80. as you may remember it was a mad dash to get the horses entered as BE took a little longer than they normally do, i guess someone was trying to tell me something, one horse has gone slightly lame!!!!!!

well my question, i know i can change a horse with me still as the rider but as i have no other horses to run at that level, can i give my place to a friend and her horse as i have checked the entries online and no refund is given and no waitlist so there is no way i can get my money back.

im sure others are the same but this season i have had to withdraw almost as many times as i have managed to get a run!!!!! my poor mare being retired early and now my youngster having some back problems!!! oh well

failing that, anyone have a youngster they want a run around LM ;)

There is a £10 charge for changes. Don't see why you can't change the horse and then a couple of days later change the rider. But you would be charged for 2 changes so £20

I could be wrong, but I think you can change horse and rider if the owner is the same. So if she registered you as the owner, I think it would be ok.... But I really can't remember that well.... Or I would imagine if you swapped the horse and then swapped the rider a few days later they might let you...

ok great thanks, i am asking around first to see if anyone has a horse they would like me to take round for them, it would save trying to change both.

you can only substitute a horse if the owner is the same, so you wont be able to ride some one elses horse for them unless you are registered as an owner.
