Can someone tell me all i need to know about the 5YO classes? ive only done showjumping before and i cant seem to find much about the class!? i cant even find out how big the showjumping is!! so a link to any information would be much appreciated!

Also what are the judges looking for? i have no idea whether my horse would be suitable or not! if i put some pics up would you be able to give me a straight answer to whether it would be worth entering or not!? i wont be at all offended!!
 
This months BE Mag says 5 year old qualification classes will be conducted according to the rules for BE100 Open classes. The final will be conducted according to the rules for Open Novice classes save that the cross country will be according to the dimesions for BE100 classes (Page 56).

Hope that helps, we are contemplating 5yo classes to.
 
I think you are referring to the Burghley young event horse classes? If so, go to Burghley-horse.co.uk, then Young event horse on the top, and all the details are there. The BE 5yr old classes are just like normal BE100 but if you're in the top % you get to go to the Young horse champs at Osberton in September/October time :)
