Did anyone go last year? I am thinking about entering but it will be the horse's first BE90, he started eventing in July where he did an UA80, he then ran at BE80 at Bold Heath and Sapey confidently with top 10 placings, he is entered for the BE80 at Kelsall, ideally we would do the BE90 at Broadway but I have commitments and cannot do that so was wondering about Weston? The photos on shoestring eventing look ok but I am always wary of photos alone, they seem to shrink when its not you jumping them ;)

I did the 100 but the 90 looked pretty straightforward, similar to brand hall as they had used a lot of the fences from there x
 
Yes was the same 90 fences as from Brand and they are pretty straightforward, Janet Plant course. Last year I hated the layout but they are promising to reroute all of the courses and the start and finish and collecting ring (which was pants) is all moved. It was miles to the dressage and show jumping so hopefully it'll be much better this year. Will see you there :)
 
Fear not, the new layout is excellent. I went up for a walk the other day, and its coming along nicely. For those that know the park, The XC start/finish and warm up is in the same place as the spring event, as is the lorry parking and showjumping. The Dressage is on the flat field a few hundred yards from the lorry park. In other words, each area is about 2 mins walk from the lorry park, so nice and easy :-)

There is going to be food next to the kidney pool too (in front of the lorry park)

The ground is great (but then given the current weather you'd expect that)

For anyone who fancies a potter round the course on Sunday, id recommend it as the * & ** courses have all changed, and theres a few interesting fences to look at :-)

For anyone whos doing the * & **, lorry park now has electric hookup, catering tents, a rodeo bull for sat night, and all sorts of other additions, so check out the website :-)
