Nope but my old bitch made herself shocking ill drinking sea water. Hope Tiks is on the mend soon x

Vet recommended Pro-Kolin so on my way out now to pick it up . Silly dog and her diving 
.
Will have to organise some "bodo therapy" soon, me thinks she has got worse with other dogs
.
Was a complete nightmare yesterday and I swore that I would never take her out in public again .
Bad times at the present minute , will have to catch up soon

Yep, it very common, lots of dogs get the squitters after swimming in the sea, all that salt water in the tummy, causes an erruption if squshyness

yep my dog always has the squits after swimming in sea doesnt stop him though he loves it find out if my new pup likes it soon too

My old girl used to 'poo' water, after drinking it. She would get a fantastic colonic irrigation! Would be off colour for first day or so then get used to it and stop drinking it after a while.

Same here, Flyn swims (alot!) and is constantly squatting afterwards - pleasant!!

Thanks everyone, Vet gave her some pro-kolin just to settle the stomach . Luckily enough shes been fine since . Shes had a shower and a scrub and is glad to be back indoors again

Mine always get violent squits if they drink sea water. Worst instance I ever had was whilst on agility holiday in Jersey. One bitch drank large amounts when I wasn't paying attention while we gave her a last run on the beach before getting on the ferry home. Several hours in the van later it was not a pretty sight. We were actually stopped by customs for a search on landing in Weymouth, customs officer stuck his head through the window to tell us to pull over, had one sniff and waved us through!
