Both dogs are currently passed out :D

Both were stars but blotted their copy books in their own ways. They travelled brilliantly (longest she's ever been in the car) but my normally well behaved puppy jumped out of the boot before mum had the door open  Luckily she's so bloomin' soft she ran to the nearest person and flopped so mum could catch her straight away. Naughty Quila!

We took them for a quick walk/look at the sea and where as Jack stayed clear she just walked straight in, tried to drink it then spotted seaweed and tried to kill it, no fear :D

Tethered them so I could have a lie down and she took to it like a pro. She made friends with the family parked next to us and while I was trying to attach Jack to the tether he got free and tried a spangle style picnic raid :o . Being so engrossed in it he didn't spot mum who grabbed him before he got anything and we apologised lots, luckily they saw the funny side. Jack then settled for cuddles from the family next door ;).

We had a couple of walks along the beach, met lots of kids, dogs, kites, canoes etc and nothing phased her. She's still flopping (and did so in the manky wet sand when saying hello to a lovely spangle so had to have a wash in the sea) but she's getting better.

All in all I'm very proud of both of them. Jack was a great role model and she took it all in her stride.

'Where am I?'

I did say lots :o

MM - It was Black Rock Sands at Portmadog

I am wearing lots of layers...not put any weight on :o I'm having good and bad days, I'm only crutch free for the photos and suffering a bit for doing so much but I'm getting stronger. Mostly struggling with the anxiety now :(

Thought it was Black Rock, had some lovely holidays there with the dogs. :) Don't overdo it without the crutches, better to take your time and make a full recovery.

Awwww i love these wee guys :) there so cute ... especially the pic of the one sleeping beside the trainers lol ... oh i love the pink lead it would match my dogs pink collar :p

It was more the travelling and walking that did it, mum was holding the crutches while she took the photos then I had them back ;) We had lots of holidays there when I was little I love it there!

I love Quila, reminds me of the corgi pup next to a yard that we used to be at. All honey coloured enthusiasm and confidence. Looks like they both had a great day out :)

The smiley tongue-out Quila picture is priceless - she's adorable. :D

Glad you had a lovely time, was Black Rock terribly busy or okay? Looks okay from the photos, just wondering if it's worth risking the mad husky there for the day. I have family in Porthmadog so can retreat in an emergency if it's all a bit much.

It wasn't too bad.....we stayed near the entrance (not as far to the loos for me) and it's quieter than the far end of the doggy bit but lots of loose dogs. Had 3 collies try and round us up for 5 minuets before their owners bothered to come find them! And rude snappy rats (not) on ropes charging at us with their owners giggling!

Looks like fun all round, the photos are just fab :D Madam is the perfect brave outgoing pup isn't she? :) I love! (Jack is still a total dude though :D) You definitely deserve a day off your feet today, I'm knackered just reading that!!

Yup....it's a bit gross but I'll shove it in the washing machine when mum's at work ;)

Silly puppy is limping after playing with Jack so she's obviously jarred herself jumping out of the boot. She's on strict bed rest and no playing allowed.....naughty girl!
