Piccies speak for themselves so I won't ramble on. Ponies were so good, their first beach ride Grinning!!! Was so funny one time in the water.....my pony [chestnut] got too up for it, went cantering in, jumped a huge wave and then we both disappeared with a splash where she landed in deeper water lol swum a few strides then galloped back out jumped the waves in too hehehehe bless her. She loved it!

Beach rides are so much fun, one of ours loves pawing at the water, can't wait to see the new mares reaction, being an ex brood mare, she's unlikely to have seen the beach, well worth the 90 mins trip

Thanks! It was amazing! She's my exbroody too I got her as a 10 year old...she's now 16/17. Taking her to the beach was the only thing she hasn't ever done, so a life goal completed I used to take her swimming down an old water park back home a few years back....but a still lake isn't quite the same as the sea!

Great pics, looks like you had so much fun, beach riding is wonderful. I did keep my lovely Seren near a beach years ago so we had the pleasure of some beach rides, wonderful memories

Looks like fun. Beach riding was the thing that me and Benson enjoyed the most. Other than the time we were having a good gallop, my stirrup leather snapped and I landed on the hard sand and ended up with concussion! BUt my best memories are of there.

Aw thanks! That was just below, just down at Brean Brill day! We were there for around 7 hours lol....waited for the tide to come back in so we could take a dip.

Brean is our local beach - my OH discovered the delights of bareback there a few weeks ago
