Beach Ride today :)

Went to the beach today on Sol and she was fantastic

Went for a paddle in the sea , even though she was having kittens at the surf (is thats whats is called ? ) when it was going in and out

Then went for a gallop along the length of the beach [

]
The we went all the way round the dunes and had some fab canters and jumped some XC jumps for the first time (

)
So overall it was a fab day and I love my pony

I'm so jealous!!

Which beach did you go to? I used to live in the Vale of Glam and would often disappear for hours playing in the dunes and on the beach.....miss it like crazy!!

Went to Merthyr Mawr (sp) and round ogmore-by-sea !!
Never been to the beach before ( appart the time I went with PC and there were 60 of us galloping round

)
So it was a great day out , but we did get told to look out for suspicious people or DEAD BODIES

Never saw any dead bodies when I used to ride there!!! Plenty of suspicious people tho!!!
I used to live in St Brides Major and had the horses at home so it was a decent hack for me!! Excellent steep dunes for fittening work iirc!!!

I was rather scared

Sol was dead on her feet when we got home , she fell asleep with her nose in her water bucket

I think I need fittening work before I go round there again
