beach rides

I went on a holiday to wales last year and did a beach ride with a 'riding school' called nolton stables, the beach we went on was Druidston Haven

ah, you could try finding other stables that do beach rides near where you are and ring them up to find out what beaches they ride on?

There are loads - three cliffs and llangennith on the Gower. Ignore is further east. Pembrey further west. That's just for starters.

I think with the ones I've just mentioned you can go on them any time. I know for Pembrey you have to buy a permit, but this also allows you to ride through hundreds of acres of forestry too. I think you're supposed to have permission from the council to ride on Ogmore too.

You can ride on the beach at Ogmore without a permit but not the dunes behind it. If you were to park by Southerndown, you can ride across the common then cross the river by the stepping stones and hack down to the beach without having to get a permit :)

Im trying to find a riding centre that does beach rides in south wales as i want to take my mum for her birthday, Ive tired to contact ogmore beach riding centre but i can't get any answer. Is there anywhere else near by i can take my mum or any other way of contacting the ogmore riding centre?
