Am thinking of taking my horse to west withering beach tomorrow evening.

I'm allowed on the beach from 6pm. Only I'm not sure if it's ok to go, high tide is at 5pm and low tide is at 9pm.

Am I right in thinking it would be safe to go at 6/7, as the tide will be going out?

Also does anyone know where I can park?

I have always been told it is best to ride after high tide rather than after low tide, in case the tide comes in quickly and cuts you off. Though that depends on the beach. So I would think that riding at 6/7 is sensible. :)

Oops it's low tide at 10.30pm, I was close enough lol!

I got that info from here

What I'm kind of thinking is you need to be careful that the tide doesn't come in and cut you off, so if i go at 6/7, it's only going to grt lower, right? I suppose it depends on how much it comes in, I.e. How deep it gets at high tide? :s I'm not very clued up!
