Beach Riding in Hampshire

Does anyone know where you can go? I would love to go with my friend but I also have some concerns. Corroy's biggest fear is Kites and such like, so that would include the sails on boats I think. How do horses tend to react the first time they go?

You're unlikely to get sails on boats near enough to the beach to bother your horse but on the beach near me (which I'm dying to get Norm to but struggling for transport!) kite surfers can be a problem! To aviod these you're best to go when there is no wind and its flat calm....

Thorney, Hayling Island or Wittering will be best your best bets

Hayling is lovely but make sure the kite surfers are not there first, they seem to love it there!

Bracclesham Bay Wittering is where we go. can park by the beach!

I think you can only go on Hayling after 7pm. I went a couple of years ago and it was lovely. There was one kite sufer and he moved along way up the beach and kept well away from us.
