Hi,

Has anyone been riding on the beach on the East coast - Lincolnshire / Skeggy way.

A friend and I would like to take the horses for a play, but it is hard to know where you can go and at what times of the year, where you can park and the most important which beaches are safe for horses.

If anyone lives that way or had been can you let me know what you did?

Thanks

Yes we go to mablephorpe ( that's spelt wrong but you know where i mean!), there's big car park for the lorries. you do have to have a permit to park there though.. there free, you just write a letter to the nature people. if you give me 10 mins I’ll post the address for you, it's amazing there I’ve never seen so much sand in my whole life!.

I spent a week there at Easter - the beaches are fantastic, and the parking is good. I was near Sutton on Sea (just south of Mablethorpe) and you can go for miles down towards Skegness.

Hope you make it and have fun

I grew up riding on Cleethorpes beach every day!! Sadly now live in Derby! The feeling is great I rode on the beach on my own on Christmas Morning one year and there was not a soul about apart from the seagulls! Go for it!!
