Beach riding in the Bristol area?

Looking for recommendations for beaches that permit riding in the west Somerset area? I'm based in Bath and need somewhere as close as possible to keep transport costs down for a day trip! Would consider Dorset though (I'm aware of Studland but the restrictions make a trip not worthwhile).

I'm trying to find up-to-date info on Brean as a good prospect, but wondered if there were any other beaches people recommend as well?

I've used berrow/brean a lot as local. Preference for us to park at berrow as it saves driving all the way up to brean as it's not the best of roads, and there is less of a drop onto the sand - I am aware that they have had some issues with sand erosion around the concrete ramp at berrow though.

It isn't a beach to go to if you really want to go in the sea. For anyone who doesn't know it well I always recommend erring on the side of caution and staying up by the dunes and avoiding the very end of the beach around brean down as it gets very silty.
