Beach riding - Lincolnshire

Anyone ride on the beach on the Lincs coast?

My daughter would love to go but I'm not sure where is best. I have seen horses on the beach near Mablethorpe and seen lorries/trailers parked in various places.

Any suggestions?

I'm nervous of not knowing where the soft sand is, or the inlets which can be very deep if you don't know the area.

i've been told that it's fine to ride near Ingoldisthorpe/Snettisham.
i'd probably try to get a local rider to go with me the first time or so, someone who knows the tides etc, as they can come in behind you in certain places, i've been told.
i'm near that area, and can ask around if you like. i'd planned on going to do some beach riding next spring/summer around there.
i think you have to get a permit from the council to ride, and they have guidelines etc for riders to follow, for safety.

I've been to mablethorpe with the RC and had a brilliant time, the beach is huge and goes on for miles and miles so it's perfect for a good gallop!
