Just wondering if anyone knows of anywhere that does beach riding on hired horses in the south east??

Very random, but I am trying to organise a friends hen party and thought that would be fun for the day. All can ride, from novice ish level to pro!

Thanks

sorry I don't but is a fab idea, we rode in the newforest for my friends hen do and was brill despite the rain, even the couple of non riders enjoyed it.

Whereabouts in south east and how far would you travel?

When I was researching riding on the beach with my own horse, I came across somewhere just south of Great Yarmouth, it was a riding school and it offered riding on the beach. Not sure if they would do a hen party (maybe call it something else?!) but if it's not too far I will look it up for you.

I imagine Gt Yarmouth could be quite a laugh for a weekend, actually! Kiss me Quick hats, amusement arcades, lots of hotels, quite cheap...

Studland Beach anywhere near you? - there is a riding school near there that transports horses to the beach - I always wanted to do it - finally booked up one year and then there was gale force winds and it got cancelled, still never ridden on the beach

I have ridden from Studland Stables (they have a website) to the beach (ten mins tops) a number of times. I like to go when I go home (used to live there before uni) as a treat! They're horses are good and the ladies that take out rides are lovely, very friendly. They do ask you to be confident and able to control a horse though.

Sussex way there's a place called Ditchling Common stud which was reccommended to me but haven't been yet (although plan to as I'll be based there after uni). They probably don't do beach riding as they're quite far in land but they might know someone who does...
