Beaches to ride on???

Hiya,

Was just thinking what with all this glorious weather, how lovely it would be to take my horse and daughters pony to a beach for a good gallop, paddle roll etc (hopefully in that order!! )

Can anyone recommend any good beaches? I'm in Staffordshire so probably have to be Wales way? I have only ever ridden on Southport ...any others??

Ask the BHS, i *think* it was them that recently ran a campaign on coastal access for horse riders. Anyhow, they should know which beaches allow riding though.
