Not for me, but my friend had to have her beloved beagle boy pts a few months ago and she has been talking about perhaps re-homing a beagle instead of getting a new puppy as she took early retirement and can commit the time to helping a beagle.

Are there any re-homing places in Scotland that you can recommend she tries?

Hi Shutterbug,

Has your friend found a Beagle? We are unfortunately having to rehome our wonderful 3 year old male Beagle (Toby) due to a change in circumstances. If your friend is still looking we would be happy to answer any questions she may have.

Thanks

She has found a dog thanks, in fact she has ended up with 2 lol but thank you anyway I hope u find a home for him. What area are u in?

Hi,

We are in Renfrewshire so quite central for most of Scotland. We have had Toby since he was 8 weeks old and he has a wonderful nature and would like to know that he is going to a good home that understands the needs of a Beagle. He has endless energy and would walk all day which due to our change in circumstances we just aren't able to provide like we use to, a very hard decision to come too.

Have you found a home for Toby yet? We are looking to rehome a beagle or lab having previously had experiance of both would love to have another. We do have two you kids and this is narrowing down the range of rescue dogs that are suitable.

fingers crossed
