haha well done!! My grey is rugged to keep him clean(ish) but he ended up with poo all over his face and neck the other day! She is very pretty though (under the mud i bet she would be even prettier hehe), what breed is she?

If you look at that, and her face in the first two then you can see what colour she is supposed to be. She's not even iron grey, or even especially dappled now... Well, I'm basing that on last time that I saw her without any mud which was some time ago now!
green eyed monster alert lol..... she's a beaut! How old is she? Have you had her long? Looking at her mane and face, I imagine she was that dark, she almost looked black with a blaze! A very pretty girl. Do you mind if I ask why she is out of action?? xx
She is coming up to 8 and a half, and I have had her a little bit over 2 and a half years.
She is actually a pretty light dappled grey now, with her winter coat, but still has a black mane and tail (under all that mud
).
I am *guessing* (largely based on pics of her relatives) that by 10-12ish she will be white with black points and once properly into her teens all white.
Her grandsire was Heartbreaker, and this is her daddy:
She is the most wonderful horse that I have ever sat on
and I love her to pieces,
but she won't be returning to any proper level of work again as she has serious osteoarthritic changes to her off hind fetlock and some changes to her near side one too.....
I am gutted, BUT, given we both nearly died in the last year, I am just so very glad that we are both here for me to hug her and her to still make me laugh at what a love she is.
