Have to admit that it was the OH who just sent his bottle of wine flying, not the Bear.:rolleyes:

However, once it had all been mopped up, the Border that is our Bear was seen to be positively sucking at the rug where the wine landed........:o;);)

A good Dornfelder Rose, a nice fruity little number I'm reliably informed, was enjoyed by dog and owner this eveing........:o:rolleyes:

I am positively ashamed to be associated with these two! ;)

LMAO - I am ashamed to admit that I had a party at my house ( not uncommon) and the next morning I found my toddler son supping up the left overs  far more shocking than a dog lapping up!!!

And on another note - I used to live in Kent (you know where all the hops are grown) and we fed our ponies on Brewers Grains (pretty sure you don't get them now) and I swear to you that my ponies used to walk out of their stables drunk!!!!

Do you give a hungover dog a hair of the dog?:D

On a similar note, Barney used to be very keen on lager:eek: You couldn't leave a can unattended with him about:o

:D Pleased to report that neither Bear or his master are none the worse for thier exploits last night. If anything, Bear is 'boingier' than ever this morning, though I'm putting that down to fresh snow on the ground rather than the wee tipple! :D

I have a piccy somewhere of him eyeing up an unopened bottle of vino tinto. I'll dig it out and put it up here when I can find it. ;)

Found it!

:D Phew! Glad to hear Bear's not the only one to have enjoyed a sup or two and survived!! ;):D

Aw I do love Bear!
B has such a hairy little face compared to him! She is ridiculously hairy everywhere atm to be honest!

B has also helped herself to wine and cider!

ed -You are the lucky one! :p Next time I have some I'll keep you in mind!lol;)

lml - Yeah, the hair on Bear's head is quite close cropped, so to speak. I put it down to his brain constantly expanding and the hair growth can't keep up!:p;) His ears are nicely hairy, though, so they will stay nicely warm!:D The rest of him is blowing nicely - he has a 'parting' running from the back of his head to behind the shoulders. I'm hoping this parting will eventually meet with the blown bits at the base of his tail, but as he's only young I'm not sure he'll do this first time round. Time will tell.:D

;) Know just what you mean! Black and navy blue are taboo colours. Anyone who takes on a Border quickly learns that lesson! :D

OH's armchair and the sofa are Bear 'colours' - lots of browny, burnt sienna-type colours, so we're quite lucky in that repect. Bear dosen't do 'not on the furniture', as you can see:o:D His Dad and Mum are just the same, so it's clearly in the genes!:)
