Bea's Foaled! 9.45 AM Today!



Bea had a lovely filly this morning, completely unaided (again!) Not sure what colour she's going to be, her eyelashes are bright red but she has socks too!

For Ken and others; foal is by One More Tiger out of Witches Broom (Fraam) pure TB and the train arrived on time exactly!

Just look at these! So chuffed, can't tell you!

They're in the order they were taken; first she was only 30 min's old, the standing ones about 2 hours old.

Will overload you later but vet has been and checked both over, foal had jabs, has suckled and passed everything it should; Bea is happy and eating; I've rung Anne-Marie (Bea's owner who is over the moon!) and I'm just finishing my cereal which got interrupted this morning!

Gorgeous foal!!

I know this might be a really dumb question, and probably I've missed something, but has Twiggy had her foal yet? I haven't seen any updates on her for a bit.
 
No, you haven't missed anything!

Twiggy is blooming and due shortly to Bazaars Texas but she is no longer with me (Tilly does know and is chuffed where she has gone to put your mind at rest!) Without naming names, she and Spring have been bought by a breeder from Scotland who has several eventers ridden for her at advanced level so they both should have the best of care. In Twiggy's case, she will get the chance to visit (even if by a straw!) some of the best stallions and Spring will get the eventing chances that she was bred for. They went a fortnight ago and have settled in well; I bet they'll both notice a difference in the weather! They have promised to let me know about Twiggy's foal so I promise to pas it on. They were sold not through anything they had done, they were both delightful to have around the place but my back has been very bad all winter, the land has had a hammering this last year and something had to go to ease the strain; it just happened to be these two.
 
How come I get shouted out when I ask plus I even offered to take one of the boy's as well???
