Well the growth is a beneign (sp) tumour. He told me the exact name but it's long! It should go on it's own accord but I need to keep an eye that it doesn't ulcerate, weep or irritate her or it's straight back to get checked. He said the chances or it turning cancerous are slim to none.
She has also had a very ungoing problem with her ears. The canals are closing due to food intolerances and then becoming irritated. The vet wanted to give them a good clean (plucking right down as far as possible) so she had to be sedated to get this carried out. She is now drugged up on morphine and steriods. Feeling very sorry for herself. We have to try and get the canal opened as much as possible as they eventual outcome would be parring away the inner ear. Which is not something I want to put her through.
She's sleeping on the settee at the min so hopefully the drugs will keep her comfortable enough to sleep during the night
