Your post made the tears flow again. I keep getting 3 bowls out, 3 treats at bedtime etc. Saffy wasn't a house dog but her kennel and run is right outside the kitchen window, every time I look up I see the empty space. I know from experiencing it far too often that it does get easier, but just now it hurts like hell. Sending you more huge hugs.(())
