Yes, I know Labs like to show off

by leaping into lakes and so on, but for sheer intensity, focus, and longevity, I truly believe that BTs make the best (read: most annoying) fetchers out there. They. Just. Don't. Stop.

Throw it. Throw it. Throw it etc. etc.

The sweetest girl on the planet (unless you're a green squeaky ball, a chipmunk, a pigeon or an impolite doglet).

What a great little dog, whats up with her eye ?

[/ QUOTE ]

It's a prosthetic eye. She lost her real eye due to a head trauma (a year ago this month, actually).

I may have to disagree on this one, my blonde menace is pretty intense, focussed, and really quite annoying at times.....

Stella looking fantastic as always - is orange the hot harness colour for this summer (may have to bin the blue one if so)...

Glad to hear she has your hubby well trained with the carrying business!!

The beach is saved again...

Henry is useless, he chases whatever you throw then prances round and round with it like a numpty but never gives it back to throw again...

Okay, I concede that JRTs are fairly good fetchers

but my claim still stands: BTs are the ultimate loons when it comes to balls. Actually, if I'm going to be *really* honest, the best fetchers at our dog park are Stella, Licorice the BT, Flag the Border Terrier, and Peanut the Jack. All are equally insane, and pretty much leave the big dogs for dust.

I imagine Poppy looks beautiful in blue. Stella's orange was bought largely for practicality's sake. We frequently walk in the woods in CT, and this month it's turkey hunting season using crossbows

The last thing I want is for the Stella beastie to be mistaken for some edible varmint.

Terriers are obviously 'compulsive-obsessive' types

I see why you want her NOT to look like a turkey (you do inded have scary walks), but the orange looks very pretty on her anyway. Not quite as funky as her winter outfit of the orange down jacket and snowboots though

I guess she is missing a few feathers, but we all know what happened when Dick Cheney went shooting a few years back.

Stella is very glad to be rid of her snowboots. She's all about topping up her tan at every opportunity

I agree Bostons are relentless fetchers. If nobody is willing to play fetch, Tilly will drop the ball down the steps just to watch it move, fetch and do it again, and again ! Tilly has the same harness, only in purple (and a larger size). Great to see photos of the lovely Stella.
