Lovely Northamptonshire again!

Thankyou to Townfields Saddlers. I ordered a few things a week ago, they let me know immediately that 1 thing was out of stock, was I happy to wait for it all to be in stock or did I want the order sent in 2 parts. Cool.
Stubben sent the wrong thing to them, so they've just emailed me again to ask the same question, and they will send on the soft-touch Stubben spurs (free postage) when they're in stock.
Cool again.
Just really nice, when SO many companies seem to take your money and then not give a stuff how long you have to wait etc etc, to deal with a company which keeps the lines of communication wide open and is so refreshingly honest and straightforward.
:) :) :) will definitely use again.
So, can we please make this a positive thread? Other companies that are really good to deal with and DON'T take your money and then fail to communicate, ignore your emails, etc etc?!

Ooteman :) I ordered a helmet, received it within 2 days (from Holland!), it was WAY too big, I asked if I could send it back and get one 2 sizes smaller (as the original one was so huge), they replied saying to wait until they'd sent a smaller one (without charging me anything obv) so if that didn't fit either, I could send both of them back at the same time & save postage and get a third one instead. Amazing!

Windamere Equestrain - cheapest for Tuffa boots at the time.

When they arrived they were a little too big but I wasn't sure if the next size down would be too small. Lady I spoke to said she would send a smaller pair out (didn't want payment) & I could send back the pair I didn't want.

Didn't charge postage for sending out the second pair. Good communication throughout.

I've never used Townfields before but will be sure to do so in future! I'm a big fan of 4dobbin, they have a big selection, are lovely people and again contact you immediately if/when things don't go to plan :)

I'd like to give a big "hooray" to The Tack Shack who phoned within minutes of me placing an order to say it was out of stock. Found me a suitable alternative and even price matched it to another online retailer. :) They had to order it in and send it on plus provide a refund on the price difference, really good service. :)

Have to give praise to Equine Fitness. Bought a heart rate monitor for hoss. When it arrived they had sent the wrong girth but said I could keep using it until the right one arrived. They then emailed me to say there was a delay on the right girth so I was to keep the other girth as an apology!

Girth arrived a couple of weeks later. Very happy with the service so thank you Equine Fitness :)

I've used Townfields a few times and been impressed with their service. Our local saddlery is very good at sourcing items that I need if she doesn't stock, proper customer service IMO.

Tosca rugs were great - really helpful on the phone, and when needed different size, that was sent out before other rug returned, needed chest expanders and wasn't charged for these. Plus I love the rugs!

Exactly, it's all about communication isn't it? Most of us don't mind what is going on so long as they tell us what is going on :D

I like Feedmark, really helpful, really quick delivery, and it's free :D

Dressage Deluxe - superb, personal customer service; Rideaway and Equestrian Clearance - both fast service and quick, no quibble refund; Ariat - faultless customer service.

Mattes Equestrian---really helpful lady on the phone, easy-to-use website with good information and excellent customising options, and delivery was quicker than expected!

Old Mill Saddlery in Northern Ireland. I enquired about white breeches and how see through they were and the girl went and tried them on for me and emailed me pics...usefully telling me what colour undies she was wearing. Even after that she still said if I wasn't happy send them back...and included a special pack to send them back free!

e bay shop - classic dressage marbella....good value pikeur, cavallo etc and excellent service, quick delivery even though coming from spain...very easy to deal with....

not really horsey but spreadshirt.co.uk... you can buy t shirts/sweatshirts and have your own design.. i ordered a sweatshirt and they sent the wrong colour, emailed them and they apologised, sent me the correct colour and told me to keep the original as it was their mistake..pretty good service...

rideaway...quick delivery , good service...

Pidgeon - i have a feeling you are quite local to me, which is your local saddlery? I would like to use local shops but always end up going to the internet

This is awesome! What fab service - above and beyond and all that!

I pretty much buy everything from t'internet, so feel this is my specialist subject, can't really add anymore to what has already been said, always had excellent service from equestrianclearance.com, classic dressage, dressage deluxe, horse health, 4dobbin and ride away.

Bought a pair of boots off trot2.com recently, and realised I'd stupidly ordered the wrong width. Called them on the Sunday, very helpful lady confirmed they didn't stock the size I needed. The next day she called to say she could get them from the manufacturer, and two days later I had my lovely boots - complete with free boot trees and heel raisers.

Would definately order from them again. :)

Thermatex. Not only did they deliver my lovely custom rug very quickly after Burghley, but they also very speedily and efficiently solved my Oldencraig problem when a bridle never turned up (Harry Dabbs/Jaguar, same company). I finally got enough info out of Oldencraig to get hold of the supplier direct. They were apologetic beyond belief, even though it wasn't their fault, and rushed to the post office that day to get it sent out to me. Even told me to keep the other one if it ever turned up :)

Another vote for Inter Equine, ordered a couple of things and she emailed me within a day to tell me she didint have one of the items in stock. Gave me the option of waiting for that item or sending them out in two lots which is what i went with. What i was pleased with was the second item actually got me when she said it would, not a few weeks later. Very happy so will use them again,
Had good dealings with Old Mill Saddlery and Ride away so would be happy to use them again. Nice to know about Townfields for future reference.

Not horsey, but I am in love with DHL today, who made it through snow and two miles of queueing lorries to deliver a parcel. I had thought they wouldn't bother, and hubby wouldn't get his birthday present, but they did.
