Well done that Laura B - 32 dressage on a not easy dressage horse (ok so it was PN and this horse was at the olympics but hey! I don't care!) One down Sj and a clear XC with just a few time pens!

She went really slowly XC, Dan Jocelyn went next on a 5 year lod so he could catch her up if any problems.

I felt sorry for her as the commentator kept reminding everyone how she rode in the olympics, though I did PMSL when I overheard a spectator say how dissappointed she was not to see her in full top hat and tails - on the XC!!!!!!!!!!!!! This person was deadly serious.

thanks for the link, i really enjoyed watching that, she comes across as really lovely. i thought as a dressage rider she'd sit bolt upright all the time, but if anything she was a bit too forward with her shoulders, very surprising. really hope she sticks at it... i wonder if Mistral Horjis is a good jumper...

What a lovely girl! nice to see her miss at a SJ a time or two and totally stay in balance and her XC looked v easy. Must have been difficult for her to do dressage on a 16hh TB compared to an 18hh WB!

And the recorder quartet playing the William Tell Overture were great too

I did think it was very humble of her when the interviewer asked if doing a PN wasn't a bit of a comedown after competing at the Olympics that LB presumed the question was referring to Silence and not herself!

she was.... i asked her for an autograph and she seemed really surprised!! i thought shed be more used to that after the olympics! hope she continues eventing!
