Bedding for an 8 month old filly

Hey everyone,

I'm having my new filly delivered next month, she's kept out at the moment so she's not used to a stable. She has been fully weaned and used to being away from mum. I have had a look on here and google to find some info about the best type if bedding for her in the stable. Ill be taking things really slow to start off with, I just want her to settle in and be comfortable in the stable and do whats best for her.

What type of bedding shall I use?
Do I make up a full bed in the stable, or as she's only small just make it a deep litter in one corner so she can walk around?
Are there any useful websites out there for weanling owners?

Please any help or advice would be great.

Personally I would have her out.

Why does she need to be in?

Out as much as possible!

If you have to have her in- ie DIY, then personally I bed down with straw.

All the weanlings I have had over the years have had a good straw bed and rubber matting. Out 24/7 in summer and winter just in at night.
