Hey everyone!

Quick question, what are your horses bedded on this winter?

And has anyone ever used the Nedz Bed stuff? The advance one looks really good!

Any suggestions on very quick bedding to use that rots down easily and you dont waste loads?

Thanks in advance hope everyone's ok in this horrible weather!! :)

Hi theres quite a few that use flax on our yard, wet bits clump and are easy to lift out ,it gives a nice solid mattress and rots very quickly, few pence more than shavings but lasts quite well.x:D

WhoopS sorry on phone?!!!!

So yes being a chunker, hay AND straw = FAT horse!

Everyone has their own fav bedding but we get comfy bed at fair price, and it's quick/easy ...

And most important for me she doesn't trough it! :-)

Comfy bed is v finely chopped wood!

Like shaving only v much smaller and more absorbant!

If I had all the money in the world though (!!!!) I'd use megazorb!!

Anyway google Eco Comfy Bed - much better info than my drunkern blurb!!! :-)

I use the wooden pellets (aquamax et al)- love them, very cost effective, brilliant for my old cob who has COPD and easy to store.

Would recommend them to everyone.

Yep - I cover the floor and then hose for five minutes , let them fluff up and turn them over again and soak again. You only need then to take out the poo daily and every so often take out the wetest of wet patches. I add another bag once a week at most. I have one bed with rubber matting underneath and another without - love them - wouldnt go back to shavings.
