ok so trying to get organised for Winter and looking at bedding options. I used raider pro last year and really liked it but it's out of stock in my area at the moment. Miscanthus is available but I know nothing about it. I would like opinions/experiences of using it good or bad! Also any other recommendations gratefully received! Thanks

I use comfy bed plus, It is really good for my very wet boys and I find it is very good value for money. Its a mix of woodchip and wood shavings and come in a 24kg bag.

Agreed on comfy bed plus! My boy can be sensitive to dust but been on box rest in an indoor barn on comfy bed for over a month and not so much as a tickle.

I use Stable Choice 22.5KG bales, dust extracted pine shavings. They used to be very good but now they are finer and not as compact packaged so weight wise I would query if they have gone down. I am getting them for £7.40 per bale, free delivery within 20 mile radius. Distributor is country wide.

I love miscanthus - absorbent enough for deep litter, cheap enough (we have a producer locally but still have to buy through retailers) and biodegrades very well
